I picked up a Delta from my LBS for around $30, installation was easy and it comes with a wet bag. I've got the iPhone 5s with an otter box and I have to remove it from the case to use the mount.

I used use my running armband and hook it around my aero bars. Works great.

Good thought, I don't have aero bars though. Road setup. I have in the past used my armband around the bars, but it really has to be tied as opposed to using the velcro and it inevitably gets loose during the ride.
