Well, hello Dolly.

I'm attending my first master's swim at lunch today. I'm hoping to get some advice on my swim stroke. Then, its to the gym for some treamill torture and a "core" workout.

Be good.

2 hour ride - in spin studio - it was a terrential down pour this morning when I woke up - bailed on my long run and decided an indoor medium ride would do.
hope to get in a 5-6 mile run tonight.

my swim got rained out last night so today my plan is to do all three to make up. Swim 1500 at lunch. Bike 20 miles after work followed by the 3 mile run.

Lower body strength training only today. Did all 3 sports yesterday: swim in the am then a Run-Bike-Run with the local tri club in the evening. 2.2 miles, 11 miles, 2.2 miles. It was my first time doing more than one sport at a time and I learned quite a bit.

Did my last "mock" triathlon before the race Sunday
1:33:52 (500yd swim/12.5 bike/3.5 mile run)

Felt pretty good afterwards even though trying to do it in morning traffic was a bear.

Bring it on Sunday!!!

Still feeling tired from Saturday's race. My legs just feel like lead. I went to swim class last night and worked solely on my freestyle pull. Now my arms feel like lead too. After class, we headed over to the track for a workout, but I only managed to do 2 1/2 800s before I had to stop. I then managed another 3 400s but I had to have a good recovery break between each.

I'm hoping that if I take tonight off that I'll feel better tomorrow.

Good luck to those racing this weekend! I am having trouble with motivation this week post race, so will probably go for a bike ride and an easy swim to see if I can get back into the swing of things.

rode 23 miles in the rain today. It was not raining when I left the house but that didn't last long. Gave the bike a nice bath when I got home, sure did need it.

Brick: 15 mile ride (hills), 4 mile run. Note to self: riding 6 miles BEFORE starting the brick tends to hurt...
