Subject: 8.20.14 What Up Wednesday!

Good morning dudes and dolls!

4:15am:  55 min run session: 10 min WU/40 min incline repeats increasing incline and speed/5 min cool down

5:15am:  30  minute circuit strength followed with some stretching

Back to work today!  I'm ready to be back into a schedule plus teaching a new grade this year (moved from 8th grade to 9th) So excited for a new challenge! Kids don't start until Monday, Aug. 25th though.

Hey Kim.
As I have already said..I did seet F.A. Today..fighting a cold and sulking after a night of insomnia. Tomorrow will be better. :-)

Did an hour run this morning, will be doing a quick and easy swim at lunch, and then finally hitting the trainer to loosen the legs up for tomorrows ride.

Hey all,

Today will be my most ambitious bike ride of my comeback. About 42 miles + a few miles to easy spin at the end. 2400 ft of climbing with one section of 14%. It will be SOOO nice to have the additional low gearing of my new Madone. Won't hurt that it's about 7 pounds lighter. Since I got the new bike last Friday I've mostly ridden (and stretched). I needed to take a break from running to let a minor muscle pull heal anyway.

Whew, love those early workouts Kim!!

I was out later than usual last night, but still dragged my butt out of bed this am.
It rained most of the day yesterday/night and this morning it was actually COOL - which was glorious after all the heat and humidity we've had lately!

5am - 5 mile run

7am - subbed a 60 min spin class at a local resort.

1 hour strength/stretching after to let traffic die down before heading home!

escaped at lunch yesterday to go swimming - 3100m with 2x1000m sets - did one in 18:53 and 19:05 - kinda bummed that I didn't negative split my second one - but I'm happy - IM Chattanooga is 37 days away
