I enjoyed this run. Almost everyone was in costume so it was fun looking at all the different costumes. Leslie and I went as Thing 1 and Thing 2. I liked the course as well. The second half was more challenging with some tough climbs and descents, but in general it was a good course. I almost got run over by some idiot backing up to turn around in the middle of the road on the last stretch before we turned back up to the main drag. I ended up as 3rd in F40-49, but they gave an overall masters award so that took the first woman out bumping me up to 2nd in the age group.

Not much other than get my Garmin started correctly from the beginning. I ran pretty much what I had hoped to.

Walked back toward the parking lot where the Jason, the kids, and the car were to wait for Leslie.


Wind


This was a fun race. With the zombie chase, the relay, and the full 13K there was something for just about every ability level. The costumes were great! Also, I liked that they went 3 deep with the awards even though it was a small race. That was a nice touch.
