What would you do differently?:

Practice swims were not that great so I am glad the swim was cancelled. Next race will be in fresh water.

It was a nice run in the dark. I didn't even need to use my head lamp. My body cooperated, thanks goodness.

Felt like crap and wanted to just go to bed.

I am too slow and too old for this!

For my first Ironman, this was pretty cool. Saw one more BT out there which was great!

I cried the morning of the race when the "Star Spangled Banner" played, but I wasn't alone. IRONMAN is electric!!
