It's constantly raining now here in Indonesia (rainy season in full swing). But I managed to get a 15-minute run and some walking done during a drizzly bit.

What's on for you?

Eastern USA, mid40s, bright sunshine, no wind. Light 6 mile run, finishing Week2 Boston Marathon training.

65 and windy here - my kind of winter!  Sorry - still getting used to not running in yaktrax and dragging slush through the house.

The Better Half and I are going to run for an hour while the kids are at swim practice, then I'm going to try to get to the pool for a bonus swim this afternoon (if able - we're driving to Santa Fe tomorrow, so have a lot to do that takes precedence).

Yay running!  And swimming!  And packing!

So the saturation extends beyond Sri Lanka? It has been raining pretty much nonstop to some degree or another for the past six days. Nothing here today, as it was a " rest day" on the bike tour, which has become a total hash due to landslides, floods, and indifferent guides. (Yesterday's 80 km ride, for example, ended up being 25 km). Tomorrow was originally supposed to be 75 km--we'll see if we get in 25 km. Tempted to call it quits and just head to the airport except that 1. Everyone else probably has the same idea and there will be no seats available and 2. Maybe the road to the airport is flooded.

-4 celcius (work it out, I don't know what it is in F) and snow. Training today was just over 2 hours of ice skating / hockey (sadly, not on the lake, hasn't been cold long enough yet). I don't plan on being able to walk without pain tomorrow but had a blast!
Have a great weekend!

Just finished up the annual Five Peaks Trail Run. Ended up with 22 miles of technical trails and just under 7000 ft of climbing.

We ran 5 peaks but did the first one twice. I did well with the run but I started to suffer on the last climb owing to the Half Marathon I ran yesterday.

Awesome workout to finish my training cycle for the carlsbad marathon. Now it's taper time.

Air is mid 60s and the water temps are 65. (Unseasonable)

Cold snap in AZ today...was 32 degrees F when I went out to run this morning - LOVE running in these temps!

7.5 mile run tracked with the new Garmin 910XT - worked like a charm and I actually synced it with my computer - so cool!

Rest of the day is about watching the ASU game and relaxing!

Light workout today.  15 min. of aqua-jogging (1st time trying it out; felt like a dork but it worked), then swam 800 yds.

Bright and sunny but only in the 20's F.  Still about 3" of snow on the ground.  Forecast calls for colder weather soon--highs in the single digits by Monday.  This kind of weather makes it much more okay that I can't run at the moment!!

Nashville had decent weather in the morning when I took my dog to the park...saw a few people riding and running. I should have ran or swam when I got back but I took a nap. ?? I made up for it by getting on the trainer for a 90 minute workout after I got up. ??

Teens and snow in the Denver metro area of Colorado.

Some weights and a short row on my new water rowing machine that I got for Christmas. Pretty sweet but I am out of shape big time on the cardio. I am on the road to getting back into endurance sports after spending some fun but unsuccessful and injury-plagued time with Olympic weightlfting.

Feeling confident and cocky, after finally losing some weight, I got off my back side and into triathlon.
