Wow, that's awesome! Good work on passing the big TWO-O-O-barrier. That's my next goal!

Still planking, but not much progression. Stopped around 1:30, but I'll give it some more time. Of to plank...

I've run into a foot issue. I can not bend the big toe on my left foot, so my planks have been non-existent since Monday. This morning I realized that I can cross my left leg over and just balance on my right and I can do my :60 planks so... Here we go with another plank-an-hour challenge on a Sunday!

0900-1200 and 1330-1630 should bring me back up even again.

Sorry about the foot issue but way to figure out a way through it! I was going to say you could do them on your knees too. Not as hard so you could lift one knee at a time and lift the opposite arm.

I fell off the plank wagon this week (okay, the whole training wagon, but that is a different story). So I did a 2 minute plank to day as penance.

I had that problem after I had my surgery last year. I propped my foot up on a medicine ball. I still have a hard time with lunges because of my ouchie toe. Hope it feels better.

I may have to do some make up planks myself today.

In the same boat. I've been lazy after my marathon. Have done my catchup planks and doing penance crunches. Got to get some mojo back.

That's amazing. I'm hoping to build up to 10 minutes by the end of the year. I'm currently at Two.

For some reason I just seem to be forgetting to do this every day. I did get a couple 2 minute ones in this week. Hopefully I can add some seconds this week, too.

Go Plank yourselves!

I am still planking, but I have missed numerous days. Same with general training. I am SOOOOo far behind, it would be pretty stupid to do the half. I haven't decided if I am going to be stupid or not. I have the option of dropping to the olympic distance. I will make up my mind the day before.

I am leaning now towards NOT being stupid. I got a bug or something and missed even MORE training. It is looking more and more like olympic not Half for me.

Robin, so sorry about the bug especially coming at such a critical time. Have you decided which of the races you will do? Best of luck to you!!!!! Have fun!

Thanks, it does suck. Especially since taking time to train for a Half is not something that may come around again. The good news is that the race I am doing, the HITS race series, has "a distance for everyone". The same weekend they have an Open, Sprint, Olympic, Half and Full. I will just fall back and do the Olympic distance. My husband and two friends will be doing the Sprint distance. So, I am at least still racing.

Now for the planking. I have not been doing them every day and dammit, there is no reason. It just takes a couple of minutes.

(heading down to the floor right NOW)!
