Subject: First week back
Took about 6 weeks of an off season at the end of 2014 and enjoyed the heck out of the holidays. This last week was my first week back with something that even begins to resemble training and you know what - I still like it. Game on 2015!

Me too, but I only took three months off..............knee surgery, got married honeymoon etc

I hear you!  I took about 12 weeks off, gained 10 lbs and completed week 1/20 of the bike trainer program, very humbling starting over but enjoying it.  Suppose to start swimming this week (actually last week but that didn't happen!).  Our dog has been cleared to begin run-walk now that he's 12 weeks post ruptured tendon surgery so my wife and I began those last week too.

Same here last week was the first week back at it after 4 weeks of being lazy and stuffing my gut over Christmas, amazing how fast 10 lbs can go on and how long it takes to get it back off LOL. I did enjoy getting back in the pool haven't done any great amount of running yet as the weather here has completely sucked, did some TM intervals at the gym but that was it, 2 hrs on the trainer Saturday Morning sure was tough to get thru but did it and had to take yesterday off to recover .

I'm back too folks! Took three weeks off for the Holidays, gained 4 lbs (opps!), and started a secondary hobby (birding!). I've been having fun with birding and we'll see how it competes with tri training hehe I don't have any races planned yet as I typically would because my summer plans are still up in the air until early March but I told myself the least would be a local HM in September. It has been tough getting back into it with the cold weather we've been having here in the midwest but starting tonight with a trainer session with Netflix. Glad to be back everyone!

Did similar - around 3 months off. Started back on the bike and strength training before Christmas. Took a week for the Holidays and another to recover from a cold. Back at it now and it feels pretty good.

Took like 5 weeks off of running after a sickness to fully recover the mind/body.  It was great.  As much as I enjoy running it can get a little mundane.  Completely rejuvenated me!
