Haaaapy Sunday!

On my way out the door for a brisk 45 min run. 6 degrees (F), feels like -3, but the sun is out!

Hey all!

Looks like some great days planned! We saw American Sniper last weekend - it was AMAZING!!

Nothing for me today. Ended up in Urgent Care yesterday so just taking it easy today and probably tomorrow.

Be safe out there and enjoy the day!

2:30 long ride (back in the industrial park on road bike due to issues with shoes/pedals on the other one--I stubbed my toe and my bike shoes just hit the swollen part in the wrong place, MTB had a flat and no spare tube so missed the group ride). Had forgotten how much "fun" the Kona-type winds are there! Also realized it is way easier to run after riding the tri bike.....Even my MTB is better than the Trek! On the plus side it was one of the coolest mornings of the year and never got hot, even 30 minute brick run after (finished at almost 11) was bearable. 40 minutes of lifting later.

I ran 20 miles today in honor if the late Steve Prefontaine. Today would have been his 51st birthday - one of my greatest motivators

Not as much volume as some of you folks.

Just a short pool swim which included a 700m tt to get ready for a sprint in May, 10s PR.

Getting ready for an hour trainer ride tonight.

Got 2100 in the pool this morning and 30 minutes strength and flex. Feeling it-- and ready for the off day tomorrow!

Feeling confident and cocky, after finally losing some weight, I got off my back side and into triathlon.
