This is a brand new bike course for this year.  I'm gonna close my eyes and hammer through the intersections and hope for the best!

Looks a little hairy (heh...the bike course that is) at Camp Wisdom and Lake Ridge. The last bit is a little confusing. I guess we do 3 big loops, and then do an out and back down Lake Ridge (similar to Ironhead).

This should be fun. Besides those who are racing, I know of the following BTers (and spouses) that are coming to jockstrap the race:

  • swatson (my wife)
  • Mrs. sebjamesm
  • the slumlords (DerekL and tri_it_cajun_style)
  • the resident possum hunters (Doughboy and dodgersmom
  • jcagg90 (insert witty nickname here)

I'm sure there are several I've left out. Should be a gi-normous BT group photo.

Anybody doing something on Saturday?  I am coming in on Friday night and wanted to get a quick workout in Sat AM at the race site, even though I have been there twice.  Then it's just eat, packet pick-up, rest, eat and sleep.

Well...umm...we're doing a couple of 5k's on Saturday and won't be back until too late. Sorry, otherwise we would!

The strappers will have a canopy tent set up for after the race, everyone make sure to meet up there. Oh, and I'll be the last one finishing so they can't leave without me!

Anyone interested in meeting for dinner on Saturday evening, say 5-ish.  We could meet at a resteraunt somewhat centrally located in the DFW area; maybe Grapevine?  (Oh, FYI, Grapevine is having a wine festival this weekend.)  Any suggestions on a resteraunt?

Just a quick stupid question. I was picking up my packet today and I queried about the triple challenge finishers stuff. I was told to go to the finishers table after the race. Has there been a finishers table at the other two events. Did I miss out on medals or finishers shirts?

    Triple Challenge?
I didn't know they were doing anything special for that. Is this meaning you did Metroplex, Ironhead, and PrairieMan?
