Hi guys...

I am coming to FL to ride the Withlachoochee Trail and noticed there is also a Pinnelis Trail. Are both of these closed to vehicular traffic? Any thoughts or comments on either one pros or cons? Thanks for some feedback!

I've ridden parts of the withlacoochee trail and it was closed to traffic. Traffic does intersect it though so you will need to be careful there and slowdown because the cars most likely won't have a stop sign.

I've ridden the south end of the Pinellas Trail and while the trail is closed to traffic, there are several short sections on the southern end, that require riding in the bike lane on a busy road. The trail does cross multiple roads at street level, but there typically are push button activated crossing signals. The further north you go, the more over passes there are. If you start at the south end, you can park at the north Skyway Bridge rest area. It has a 24 hour security patrol and obviously a place to go before and after your ride.
