Look on the bright side - at least the cap removal went well.

This was your first full season? When did you start doing tris? You did really great! I did the same race and thought the bike course was tough- my right quad is screaming at me today- but you had a great time... wish I could bike (and run) that fast!
Congrats on a good race!

Yeah this is my first year racing..... I started at the end of summer in 2005 with a small sprint tri...

Did you see the list of folks who got DNF'd  cause they disregarded the mandatory dismount at the bridge?? Oh my... why would they do that...

did you do a race report?

I did see that DQ list... amazing how many people got DQ'd! And that official was standing right there! Were they deaf when the instructions were given out? Or blind when everyone else was dismounting? I can't belive there were that many.

I'm still amazed that you just started racing at the end of last year... kind of the situation for me, but I'm just starting this year. This was only my second race- first was two weeks ago. I hope that in one year I can be placing half as well as you. I was in the lower half (210) overall, but didn't finish too badly compared to only the women (64 out of 149). I also filled out a RR.

Anyway, congrats again on the race!
