Well it sounds easy and even under par for most of you out there, however this challenge is meant for people whom for some reason dropped from the athletic discipline.

The aim of this challenge is to regain that athletics discipline, starting with 4 days of training per week, every week for the next 4 weeks.
The days may alternate but you have to have 4 active days between Monday to Sunday each week.

I always have a busy schedule with lots of international traveling and in the next 4 weeks I will also have some vacation time.
Nevertheless, I will still succeed in my plan.

You can join any time, and go on for the next 4 weeks following your sign-up.

BONUS: 1 hour non-stop walking with a steady pace will count as a valid training day (for injury recovery and fatty reasons).

WEEKLY WEIGHT TRACKING: Optional, I am starting at a solid 92kg.

Let the games begin!

Used to complete it in 28 minutes the last year, still not bad for a start eh

Week 1, Day 2:

SWIM: 1.500m in 35 minutes

3 minutes (~10%) improvement in just the second training in a year!
I guess my muscles are not too deeply buried in the fat I developed the last year :D

Week 1, Day 4:

BIKE: 20km in 55 minutes.

Oh man I so wanted to quit in the first 5 kilometers.
Then I stopped at 20km to make sure I can sit down at least half of the upcoming week

All in all I managed to reach my target for the first week and I'm very happy for it.

Week 2, Day 1:

WALK: 6km in 1 hour

This will be a challenging week as I will be away from home for 4 days for a business trip and a friend's wedding. But I'm sure I'll be keeping up with my goal even if it means walking every day

Week 3, Day 3:

SWIM: 1.500m in 32 minutes

1 more minute gone, it is becoming a habit

The next 10 days will be the toughest, not only because they are the last days of the challenge but also I will be on vacation
Let's see if I can still manage 4 days of sports a week (of course I will!).

I completed the week 3 with a success and had 2 days of training on the 4th week, then...

Then I got heat stroke! Not because of excess exercising but dehydrating while reading GoT at the beach :/

I can't say challenge completed, nor can I say it has failed but I have to put it on hold for this week due to health issues.

I will be back.

Week 4 Day 1: 60 minute run
Week 4 Day 2: 60 minute master swim

So, ladies & gentlemen,
I am back with a vengeance!
I've gained some more weight and did some smoking for the last 1,5 months (which I totally despise myself for).

But I am back and restarted my restart training challenge today with a brisk walk of 30 minutes, covering 2.75km.

I am currently torturing the scale with 95kgs and will be 90kgs at the end of this 30 day challenge, while having 4 days of each week to discipline myself to spare time for sports.

Started the second week with a 31 minute swim at a distance of 1250m.
I had to use some breast stroke as my lungs felt like burning after a while.
I think that's a just punishment for the cigarettes I had smoked in the past months.

So I will stick with walking a little more before I get back into the pool -maybe until sunday
