Wasn't sure I'd race as I had pretty bad sprained knee last week from tripping on sidewalk or something, only did 6.5 mi longest run couple wks ago as my longest run. I didn't really take this race seriously as I am still kinda burnt out after Honu, just getting back in the groove again.

I ended up jogging with a lady to pass the time but I think she slowed me down. Couldn't really ditch her out of politeness until the last stretch I told her I was going for it, and I passed about 6 people before the finish, so clearly I had more left in the tank if I wanted to.

Need to put in more miles for upcoming longer races
