5 min easy swimming.
Swim
  • 17m 27s
  • 880 yards
  • 01m 59s / 100 yards
Comments:

Nothing fancy here, pretty typical OW swim for me this year. Felt like a solid middle-of-pack effort.
Transition 1
  • 00m 51s
Comments:

Actually felt decent here. Ran in, suit off, bike on, run out.
Bike
  • 38m 30s
  • 13.5 miles
  • 21.04 mile/hr
Comments:

This year seems to be all about the bike, and today's was no exception. I had a good ride and passed a lot of people, and played tag with a friend of mine. I definitely felt the fatigue from the previous day's race, and I burned a match that took me a lot longer to recover from than it would have normally. But still a really good bike performance.
Transition 2
  • 00m 42s
Run
  • 37m 25s
  • 3.6 miles
  • 10m 23s  min/mile
Comments:

The part I was actively dreading the most turned out to be not that bad at all. I was able to run sub-10:00 for brief stretches and I ran the whole distance. At the end I really really really felt fatigued and redlined at 8-9:00 for the last few hundred yards, like really couldn't possibly have gone any faster.
Post race
Warm down:

Walk around, drink water, drink beer.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Run strength.

Event comments:

Good local race, supports a great cause. Well-run, very scenic venue, all-around great day.
