Subject: sweat too much
Just wondering if anyone can help. I have been doing duathlons for two years and have recently been training to run in my first Marathon on October 15th. My problem is that I sweat so bad that by 6 or 7 miles I am soaked my shoes and socks which are the worst and my shorts and shirt which I can deal with. I have all the modern technology of the shorts and shirts that are supposed to wick away the sweat but it doesn't seem to work. Please if anyone knows anything that I can buy or do to help send to me. Thanks Zac

Are they fitted correctly? They pretty much have to be skin tight, if they aren;' there wicking ability drops off.

Where are you? Down here you can be soaked after 3-4 miles, and it has little to do with your sweat rate. The high humidity impedes evaporation (and thus impedes cooling), so the sweat just hangs in there. No technical fabric is going to help that.
