Best Way to Meet Single Triathletes/Athletes of Opposite Gender

The Austin Runners Meetup group is a decent size and they go out to breakfast after saturday and sunday morning runs. Not sure how many of them are single but its worth a shot and they're a great group to hang out with anyway.

I became "unattached" a little over a year ago. I wasn't interested in getting into a relationship but I was interested in meeting others, both male an female for friends and a social outlet. I found looking to connect on a friendship level was a much better way to meet others and have things to do. I looked in various groups that had activities that interested me. I'm not a big fan of dating sites either but there are a lot of activities where you can meet others both in person at functions and online. Groups that have a presence both in person and online offer the best way to make new friends imo. Keep in mind, when you are active to the extent you are the pickings are pretty slim but they are out there. Keep an open mind when it comes to age too.
