Saw some athletes make it last month! Yay!

I can start running but super easy pace and go by feel now. Logged 13.1 miles from Oceanside which killed me but now I feel recovered and ready to start ramping up the mileage slowly and carefully.

Let's go for it again guys! Who's in?

I am in.

I put in a nice 2 week run training block down in Texas. I am now one week out from Boston. The taper has begun. I am at 58 miles as of today.

I'll join you guys this month. Currently only at 33.4 miles but hopefully I'll be getting 2 or 3 long runs in.

Good luck in Boston, DeVinci! Want to share your bib number so we can stalk you?

He is doing great right now. 25K done and projected for 3:26. Dang, you are fast DeVinci!

Wow, what a race on the women's side! I hope that my tv recorded it because I want to watch replays and see how that all unfolded.

I ran a 3:28 (my Garmin). It was actually quite warm out there. And those hills, wow.
I am glad I did it. But that race course is no joke.
I spent the 5 days prior to the race walking 12-14 miles each day wandering around the city doing all the tourist stuff. I guess I should have stayed off my feet a bit more.
That brings my monthly total to 84.44 miles.
I will take a bit of time off this week then get right back into training for IM Mont Tremblant.

Nice finish there man! I think the walking may have affected your race a bit, hehe.

15.88 miles so far this month. I'm gonna see the podiatrist next Tuesday to see if I can run more. So far the run I did today was pain free vs the run last Sunday, felt some dull pain in injured area, ughh...

DeVinci, that was an incredible time for any marathon - especially Boston. Especially warm temps. Especially after all of the siteseeing beforehand. Congrats!!!!!

Roland, good that your pain is receding. Hopefully you can get back to running unrestricted soon.

Ok guys, I'm out of the challenge. As soon as I joined, I got sick. Just a sinus thing that has now become an infection but this thing has really knocked me around. 5 days in bed and 10 days of no exercise. Just went out today hoping I could manage 6 miles but 2 1/2 miles was the best I could gut out. It's just going to take me a little while to recover.

Yay!!!!!! Wonderful news. Now that foot is healed, don't re-hurt by trying to do too much too soon. But Congrats!

Well, the last run of April is in the books. I hit 107.18 miles.

I will kick of May with a half marathon race tomorrow morning.

Congratulations to all those who hit 100 miles. To those that didn't, May is next, and you get an extra day to hit your goal.

Soon after I got married, I decided I needed to get motivated to work out and focus on getting back into shape. I could barely jog a quarter-mile without needing a walk break.

I think quite truly for the first time I 'get it'. It's not just about the fitness. It's not just about the great little endorphin rush as you hit 5, 10, 15 miles...its not just the medal at the end.
