Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Good morning BT, how the heck are ya!? 4:15am: 1:25 on the KK, threw in some repeats/intervals--solid effort 5:45am: 30 minute run--legs felt a little tight at the get go, but 10 minutes in felt pretty darn good. Feeling like a bada$$ this morning! Yesterday afternoon--1.5 mile OWS at Blue Lake, it was glorious. Two coworkers of mine have approached me about putting together a beginner exercise program. Both are very overweight and I am thrilled they are ready to get their health back in order! I'm meeting with both of them today, looking forward to it. Have a great day friends! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Thats awesome to help others looking to improve their health. I walked my daughter to school this morning, and finished @ 5.5miles back at the house. Went and got the legs worked on with the massage therapist for an hour. getting anxious for Saturday ride...Yeah! |

Wasn't terribly fast but I FELT good to I'm going to take it! Then got a 2nd opinion on my hip. I've got FAI which is basically impingement of the area from extra bone that shouldn't be there and what probably caused the labral tear. It's also off my cartilage on that side - "not pristine" is what the dr called it. So now just mulling over surgery options. Don't want it to get worse, but without surgical intervention, the cartilage will continue to wear abnormally. Not that I want to run marathons in the future, but I'd like to do another Ironman and be able to hike/walk/run moderate distances without pain or the risk of a hip replacement. GRRR. But the Dr was awesome and it's good to have some answers! |

![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Got a nice 4 mile run in this evening! Super nice weather here today so it was much needed and enjoyed. Layer out all of my clothes, aired up the tires, pedaling to work tomorrow for the first time ever. About 14 miles, it should be a nice morning for it. |

Feels good. 3.5 mile run tonight with the main set as 10x(30 seconds fast, 60 seconds recovery jog). Keep up the good work all you strong people. |
