9.1.16 Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit!!!

Last night's ride was a clown show. Well, getting to the ride was a clown show. As I pulled my bike off the rack, I found the back tire was flat. Let's just say that I did a bad job changing the tube, because as I was inflating it, it burst. Second time, though, went fine. During the ride, some jack wagon car was driving halfway into my lane (coming against traffic). Don't know if it was on purpose or not paying attention. FUN times.

Anyway, I have a late afternoon swim on tap for today.

Haha, I love Rammstein! Not sure how well it works as workout music though. Kim, listen to The Prodigy. I can guarantee a 35% increase in VO2 Max and overall level of awesomeness in your life.

I'm going to try to get a run in after work tonight. I've been trying to tune my mountain bike up the last couple of nights and realized too many times that I needed to buy another part or tool. I had to get around not having proper cable cutters last night by soldering the shifting cable and then cutting it, so I wouldn't get frayed wires sticking out. This weekend I've got another adventure that I'm planning for. I'm going to run to the top of the highest peak in Texas, then do some mountain biking on the old butterfield stage coach route!
