Swim
Comments: Two factors came into this one: 1. I'd just finished the 20.0, and the arms just didn't want to go right after running; swimming again felt really weird at first 2. a front rolled in during the last part of the run of the 20.0 and whipped up a good healthy chop on the lake that you had to swim into on the long leg 3. I was taking it REALLY easy; not over-exerting at all The cool thing about this format is that I felt like I had the entire lake to myself during this swim - bodies were few and far between. What would you do differently?: nothing, I was pleased with this Transition 1
Comments: again, somehow I have no T1 time Bike
Transition 2
Comments: Again, I nailed every bit of this, but I ran a bit easier with the bike this time around, and took my time a bit more at the rack to ensure I hydrated a little bit extra before heading out for Run #2 of the day. What would you do differently?: Nada Run
Comments: Flat out, I'm pretty stoked with this run. It isn't my best time by any means, but to put this run down was a big win for me. All season long I've been plagued by sour stomachs and G.I. issues and whether it was opting to take no gels at all, or the cooler weather, I'm not sure, but this was the only day I've really felt capable of running. If I wasn't trying to save myself for Sunday and the 70.0, I could have hammered this a lot harder. What would you do differently?: Absotively nothing. Post race
Warm down: Went and ate ALL TEH FOOD! I was starving!! Then, went back to the place I was staying and put on some recovery tights, put my feet up, ate an entire large pizza, and began hydrating for the next day. What limited your ability to perform faster: Caution :) Last updated: 2016-05-19 12:00 AM

Race #2 in doing the Savageman 120.0
Ran from the finish line of the Savageman 20.0 back to Transition for T3 where I put my wetsuit back on, reset my gear, swapped out sports bottles on the bike and then ran down toward the next swim start.
