Good morning BT!

4:30am:  60 mins on the trainer, solid Z2

5:30am:  :40 minutes upper body strength/core

Steve--97?!  That is just brutal!

Karen, sorry about your card--that stinks! Stuff like that is just such a hassle to straighten out.

So proud of my CC runners--they handled a brutal 6 miles of fartleks yesterday beautifully.  So fun to see them improve the way they are.

Have a great Wednesday--1/2 way to the weekend!

Good night! About to call it a day as tomorrow will be long and hot. (The much-loved outdoor adventure/team-building field trip has been reinstated--part of what has been driving me nuts for the past month!)

5:30 AM 45 minute trainer ride, mostly Z2 (I think--I haven't even looked at my bike zones for a while) with some one-minute pickups
4:30 PM 3000m of swimming

The card thing really sucks. It's holding up my entering races for next year, and now it looks like some of my travel arrangements might fall through as well since I can't pay in time. I want to start with my coach again next month, but I can't pay her! Sending a check is not quick or secure from here. Trying to see if anyone will take a bank transfer--waste of $, but at least it is fairly easy to do.

5:40 - 50' ride, with 3 x 10 endurance effort intervals.

Yes, 97 is brutal. High ended up being 100(!). Having lived in the north most of my life, I really like the winters down here. But, days like yesterday and today (forecast high of 96) in the autumn do make me pine a little bit for the north. Then, I remember the winters . . .

Fartleks are awesome. I think the most amazing thing about HS runners is how fast they can recover from hard efforts.

Karen, sorry about your card. If you're on paypal, you could send money fairly securely that way.

Have a great day!

Sorry about your card Karen. I've been there. So damn frustrating!

3 mile run tonight. I've had to break out the headlamp lately since it's getting darker earlier. Luckily I've got a path right outside my apartment so I never have to get on a single street.
