Good morning BT!

4:30am:  :55 minutes on the trainer--great workout.

Unfortunately this day is not starting well--last night at practice my team imploded.  7 stressed, testosterone filled young men acted like a bunch of sissies during what should have been a fun scavenger hunt.  The end result was one of my top runners threatening not to go to State, which would of course damage our chances to do well.  But more than that, relationships have been damaged and pride hurt.  We are to leave at 10am. I'm calling a mandatory meeting at 9:45am to hash things out.  I sure hope I'm taking a full team today! Teenagers!  To be continued...!

Have a great day!

Oh no! So sorry to hear that. I swear it must be catching--my class has been nuts this week too. I think three kids getting into trouble a total of ten times--not with me but with other school staff at specials, recess, etc. I threatened to install a complaint box outside the classroom door if they don't shape up. Plus they are all complaining about and insulting each other! Seems like puberty has arrived.

Here--managed to oversleep. Meant to set watch for 4:35 but must have been sleepy--it was 5:35. Cats woke me up with breakfast inquiries at 5:10. Managed to squeak in 45 minutes of running with some stride drills anyhow. Plus 32 minutes of strength stuff after work.

Talk about testosterone-filled teenagers. Staff share the fitness room with HS students and not many women/girls use it. Two boys trash-talking and "power-lifting". They did a total of six sets while I did thirty, and it sounded like they were giving birth to triplets.

Hope things work out with your boys.

This morning was a 20 mile ride with a warm-up, two 18 minute steady states surges at race pace with 4 minutes recovery between repeats, and a cool down.  I felt very sluggish this morning and couldn't get my Heart Rate up to the target range.  I felt worn down yesterday too.  Thanks goodness the weekend is here.  It has been a long building week and I am ready for my day off.

I'm on the other side of the college-student desk. I'm the one with the red pen in my hand. Those of us with schedules that change from day to day actually have an advantage, I think.
