Run
Comments: This particualar route was very hilly compared to other stretches. I actually thought my HR was too high and tried to lower it. I thought I was running a lot slower and was really suprised with my time. Knee and ankle were awesome. No pain at all. I walked through the mile 2 water station so I lost 40 seconds there. However, I think if I didn't walk, it would have been detrimental to the rest of my run. What would you do differently?: Start up closer to the start so I can get a higher rank. My net times were good. But if I had grossed what I net, my rank would have been raised by at least 100 slots. Post race
Warm down: None. Got my bag and rushed back home. What limited your ability to perform faster: None. Last updated: 2006-08-06 12:00 AM

No time for pre-race relaxation. I thought the race start was at 10:15. Turned out it was at 9:30 and bib pickup closed at 9:15. Changed and rushed to the subway to head into the city. Lucky all the subways were running.
None besides running to the registration/bib pickup booth.
