Good morning BT!

4:30am:  1:15 on the bike trainer:  2 sets of 12:00 intervals moving through zone 3,4,5 plus 1:00 on/off high cadence drills

6:00am:  :27 easy zone 2 run to complete the brick. Followed up with some core

Heading to my classroom before the games begins...two more classes of essays to grade!

We got dumped on again...enough with the snow!  No idea if I'll get out to Blue Lake tomorrow but as stubborn as I am, I will probably drive out there and see--my trusty Jeep should be able to handle the road out there once I get off the highway.

Have a great day!

Hello!!

Rainy and cold here but eased up enough to take the dog out for a run.
5 miles easy

PT exercises to finish and a good roller session!

Saturday I ran a 10K in the Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont CA.  Absolutely gorgeous views of the SF Bay as we ran on paved and unpaved trails that circle the hills.  I used to live in Fremont only a few miles from the race, but that was 22 years ago.  I wasn't a runner then. So much missed opportunity!

58:33 chip time, 59:07 gun time for 6/12 in my age group.  Fourth place was less than a minute faster, but 3rd was several minutes faster.

I have been able to swim 200-300 yards without stopping for the past couple of weeks, but this morning I couldn’t swim more than 50. Could not eating make a big differance?
