Ok, this might not be the right place for it, but I figured I'd try. My nutrition as of late has been atrocious. I need to get back on track. I did it before, I can do it again easily right? I'm really struggling and it's killing my ambition and confidence. Is there anyone here who would be willing to help me out? I'm thinking of going as far as planning out my intake caloric wise and macro wise. Thanks in advance.

I am a huge believer in the quote, "what gets measured get managed". Not measuring things is a recipe for disaster in today's world where food is plentiful and we now longer have to commit huge resources to searching for food.

With that being said, everyone has to find a system that works for them. For me, I like to focus on tracking food for usually about 8 weeks out of the year leading up to some key races and I like to do a full food log for about 1 week every quarter as well to create a better conscious awareness. I put my complete thoughts into a blog post at the beginning of the year.

Thank you Thomas! I appreciate the help. At this point, I'm hoping to find someone who will help me design a meal plan that I can incorporate exactly that principle.

In the meantime you can check out myfitnesspal.com. East way to keep track of eating.
I went to a nutritionist and was really disappointed. I know it depends a lot, but this one wasn't able to say anything beyond what any athlete, or dieter, would know. I would be curious how it works out for you.

I have pedals with the cage and when I ride 2+ hours my legs feel much more tired then if I took out my husband's bike with clipless pedals. Do clipless pedals truly make the difference?

I started riding this spring with the Carnac shoes on Look pedals (with plenty of float). About five minutes into a ride I get sharp pain on the outer edge of my feet, just behind the pedal.
