Hey BT!  And just like that, back to my beloved early morning routine!

4:45am:  :25 minutes on the trainer 5X2:00 intervals

5:15am:  45 minute strength.  I am starting a new lifting program which means I now have to travel to my high school weight room super early--lucky for me that's about a 1.30 minute commute, lol!

First teacher work day today and I am excited to get rolling!  Have a great day BT!

Karen...2.5 weeks to Worlds!?  Holy cow!  Hope that foot gets feeling better!  Sounds like you might be on to something with the acupuncture! What is the distance then? Olympic?

Kim, it's always nice to get back to a familiar routine, isn't it?

Another sick day for me, unfortunately. Not sure what caused this, but it's frustrating.

Wow--You are just starting school now?! Lucky! This is our third week with kids already.

Distance is 70.3, which means I'm either going to run 13.1 miles, or I'm not. Or not go despite all the $$$ I spent on travel arrangements..... It's a real mess. I didn't even qualify this year (actually maybe I could have at Calgary-didn't stick around to see if the woman who won took the spot since at that point I wasn't planning on traveling so far to Worlds) but was given a slot gratis as part of a program to get more AG women in the event, I think based on rankings last year. At the time I thought, wow, a chance for a do-over after last year's fiasco, but this year has been a total mess--only one of my races has gone semi-okay; the rest horrible for stupid, random reasons. Very frustrating as the training and fitness is actually there. Maybe bad karma for taking a spot I didn't earn or something......

Really haven't done much running on land since my last race; not sure I will until I have to. I can actually run, it's just painful and doesn't feel like I'm doing myself any favors. Lately have been okay though not 100% running on grass and a few short runs on the road.

Anyway, 1:15 trainer ride today--gnarly intervals at 5 AM. Just looking at Sunday's workout makes me ill. Ugh. One of those where I almost want to tell my coach, "I really don't think I am physically capable of this!" It's a toss-up between that and really big needles!

Easy six mile run this morning with weight/core training afterwards.

Kim: Good luck on the new school year. Good teachers make some an impact on students. I still remember the names of my good teachers after so many, many years ago.

Robert: Hope you get better soon brother.

Have a great day BT!

Thanks - I'm feeling somewhat better today (at least I can get out of bed). Not nearly good enough to do any level of exercise.
