Good morning good people of BT!
4:30am: :35 mins on the trainer with sprint intervals
5:15am: strength + plyos

Is anyone racing this weekend? Any Labor Day races?

No more 4:XX workouts here for a while. Taper plus we are having somewhat of a flu outbreak at our school, and there's no vaccine available here yet--I need my sleep!

4:30 PM--1:45 trainer ride with 30 minutes total off HIM effort repeats.

My last workout over an hour before Worlds, assuming I can avoid flu, being hit by a North Korean missile while flying to SFO via Tokyo on Saturday, or losing self or bike somewhere en route to Tennessee. Not to mention the fact that I haven't actually run over 30 minutes on the road since the end of July. I just don't want to until I have to., Feel like things are slowly getting better and no need to risk aggravating it.

Flu, injury, jet lag, North Korean missiles, airline snafus......Really now, what could go wrong?! Is there a "biggest moron" award on BT?

11:45 - 1 hour strength. My first real strength session since (probably) last off season. My legs are feeling it. It's pretty pitiful.
