Subject: Wetsuit tip Hi all,
A couple weeks ago, I was in a Sprint Tri and had a lot of trouble getting my wetsuit off. There were a lot of great suggestions to help.
This last weekend, I stumbled onto something that might be of interest. If you want to put something on your calves and heels that really helps you get out of the wetsuit-it is hair conditioner.
I'll spare the long story of how this happened (mistook for suncscreen-I was tired, it was morning ) BUT-after it happened, I tried it on purpose the next day. WOW!
The key is put it on, and let it completely dry. Then put on wetsuit. I used bags on my feet to help slip it on. After a 400-500 yard swim, I came right out of the suit. When that stuff dries, and then gets wet, it is super slippery.
One note: I did not do any research on the ingredients, so the only concern I have is whether it is harmful at all for the suit?? But, it sure works. |
