Subject: 9.7.17 Thursday Training

Good morning BT!

4:30am:  :35 mins on the trainer with 3:00 interval repeats in Z3

5:15am:  Strength routine.  No time again for plyos...water line was fixed for about 20 minutes yesterday afternoon and then burst again--something to do with the angle of the pipes and the pressure.  We think we have it figured out though so hopefully today we will be back in business.  Until then, off to shower at my friend's house again.

I'm actually heading to Reno today with my CC team--we run in North Tahoe tomorrow, can't wait to get back up to that area--plus my hotel room should have water, ha!

2 mile run this morning. I'm running out of light in the morning - the sun just isn't coming up early enough anymore!!

6:00am:  18 mile bike ride.  

                Warm up: 2 miles easy

                Main Set: 15 mile of 1/3 mile hard 2/3 miles easy

                Cool Down:1 mile easy

 

It was 51 deg F. This morning.  Nice weather for a work out but I am still not used to it getting below 70 degs for over night lows. I am not used to the cooler weather hitting until November.

Same - 50*F when I took off for my run this morning. It went from 70s to 50s really fast this year!

No S/B/R for me today. I will be playing softball tonight for the first time in a couple of years. I expect it to be ugly.
