Manatees are featured on Bing's landing page today: https://www.bing.com/ , I'm sure they'll play with you!

I want to play too. I just need my boss to stop expecting me to work!

Seriously, I've hardly been at my desk the past few weeks because I have been installing machines. This too shall pass.

Me too. Just back in the office after being out for 2 weeks (seminar, sick, vacation), so my desk (and email) is a sh8t show!

Oh! Me! I am doing a 'race' or at least an event i have no business doing but it should be fun nonetheless. It's an adventure race run called Raid the Hammer. I am on a team of three and we are doing the 'Half Raid' which they say will be about 12-14km

I know nothing about orienteering other than the word, you need a compass and a topo map.

Add in the crashed laptop at work and access to anything has been a challenge.

My only excuse is that I am stressing about packing for IM Malaysia. Just packed Andreas (bike) today and spend a lot of time with the mechanic to try to make sure I know how to put him back together in ridable form. Put a lot of videos on my phone. OMG I hope bike, Mom and I make it undamaged to Singapore and then on to Langkawi and I don't do anything stupid with bike assembly. We are leaving on Sunday; arrive Monday night; spending Tuesday and Wednesday in Singapore and then flying on to the race venue on Thursday. (For a Saturday race--OMG what was I thinking?!) Going to be just a bit busy next week!

I don't really feel ready but I have done what I can training-wise. Just feel like six hours plus is still a really long time on a bike and can't imagine what a full marathon afterward will feel like. Hopefully I can get there before the finish line closes!

Me Three. Been travelling for work for 3 days out of each of the last 3 weeks, and I have come home sick. It sucks. Also why doesn't anyone magically do my work while I'm away?

Hey everyone, Happy Friday! "Six hours plus is still a really long time on a bike and can't imagine what a full marathon afterward" is the same issue I have with signing up for a full. What is the longest you rode/ran?

It is a long time on the bike and running a marathon afterward is just crazy   I can tell you that my marathon after my choo 116 miles did not feel anything like any of my (long ago) marathons, but it was still a great experience and I know you will do really, really well!

I've had the opposite problem, in the office while everyone else is traveling. That's not any better!

Right, the IM marathon is not the same thing at all as the open marathon. Completely different beast.

Just got back from a few lovely days in Pensacola visiting family. Got in one cruiser bike ride and a walk/run with my parents. Ate tons of great food, and bought several pounds of pecans from Renfroe's. Visited with both my grandmas. They're so sweet, funny, and light up the room. Both are doing pretty poorly, healthwise, so I'm really glad I got some in person visiting time with them. My tiny grandma (she's not even 4'9" is back in the hospital as of last night with a bowel blockage. Good thoughts and prayers would be very much appreciated.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
