1.27.18 Saturday Morning!

I spent most of the day marshaling at our league track championships. Literally told almost a thousand kids where to go. Not sure how I got roped into this--I guess I'm the only one with the physical and vocal stamina for it. Thus took the day off training (Squeezed in long run and swim on Thursday.). No way was I going to show up already tired from a 5 AM workout and then spend seven hours on my feet in tropical heat. Pollution still awful here as well. I think I have seen the sun and clear blue sky once or twice between Worlds (in Sept.) and winter break, and maybe once since. Ugh! Running is semi-okay when I usually do it before sunrise, but no desire to ride a bike and breathe that stuff later on once traffic picks up (and it's full-on by 6 AM here)..

Trying to get motivated for a 3:30 trainer ride and 30 minute brick run! Right now am about as motivated as my cat, who is stretched out sound asleep on the coffee table. Need more caffeine!

Did a hilly bike ride with my cycling teammates called "death spiral". A little under 30 miles with 2,474 feet of climbing. Good to get out of the comfort zone every now and then.
