Subject: 1.29.18 Monday Morning

Good morning BT...Karen, first and foremost I am so sorry to hear the news of your dad passing.  You take care of you and your mom--BT will be here when you are ready to get back to it.  I am so sorry.

4:30am:  :50 minutes on the trainer, high cadence work

5:30am:  upper body strength + a ton of stretching.  My hip flexors are so tight from all the climbing on the weekends--priority this week is loosening them up so I don't have the granny walk in the mornings when I get out of bed, lol!

Parkland...welcome!  Post often--the thread is here everyday!  If I'm anything I'm consistent!

Week 5 Day 1 of Half Marathon program:  5 min warmup, 7x 4 min run/2 min walk, 5 min cooldown

Good morning BT...

5:30am:  67 minutes on the bike trainer.  Winter Focus Week 5 Day one. This was the following:

  • - WU
  • - 5 x 1' spin-ups
  • - 6 x 5' @ 100 FTP (2' RI)
  • - CD

Later today will be a 36 min run.

11:45 - 1,300 yards, technique focus, paddle work.

Strength training finished up this afternoon focussing on chest and core.

45 minutes scheduled on the trainer this evening.
