I am looking to buying a new Bike Computer, and was wondering if anyone is using one that they would recommend. Also would it be best to get one with a Power Meter?

There's quite an array of bike computers out there. Prices range from under $50 to over $500. A Power meter will cost $700 to over $1000 for a new one which will CONNECT to a bike computer. I'm assuming you mean for outdoors.

A good resource for making equipment decisions is DC Rainmakers site https://www.dcrainmaker.com/

I just bought a Garmin Edge 520 bike computer. it does everything I need an can connect to a power meter if I ever get one.

I had been riding without a bike computer since starting in 2009 but the last 3 years I've had the Garmin 920XT which has the same basic functions as the Edge 520 but that's on my wrist and I wanted something more visibile (easier to read) on my handlebars.

'getting one with a power meter' sort of gets things backwards.  If you are going to get a power meter, first choose the power meter that you want (or can afford), and then get a computer that works well with it.

If you just care about time and miles, get something cheap.  For $30 you can get a basic computer that will keep track of miles and time, show you current speed, and some other stuff that probably isn't helpful but can be fun and scary to your loved ones.  ("Look honey -- I hit 50mph going down that mountain!")

Get something like a Garmin 910XT and you have a multisport watch that can be used as bike computer, running computer, swimming computer and since it does have ANT+, you can connect power meters, cadence meters, etc. to it.

The Garmin 910XT with the full triathlon package is a nice set up. As noted above, you can use it for all three sports. That said, I also have a Garmin 520 that I use on my bike. I like the larger format. With the 910 XT on your wrist, I find it hard to read while running or cycling and you have to position your wrist so you can read it. With the 520 I can read it without ever having to take my hands off the handlebars.

Good luck.
