Subject: 2.12.18 Monday Morning!

Hey BT! I'm back!

Good times in Philadelphia!  The parade on Thursday was crazy but so fun--pretty cool to be a part of that.  Philly fans are sure passionate about their Eagles! Did a lot of walking around and site seeing.  The conference was so-so...more geared to district/admin types than classroom teachers.  Glad to be home and back to a routine!

4:45am:  :30 minutes on the trainer.  Still struggling with that dang injury on the left side, haven't run at all.  A little concerned since I have a half marathon in 3 weeks!

Followed up the ride with some strengthening/stretching stuff.  Going to use the TENS machine on my leg tonight see if that helps any.

That's about the nicest thing you could say about Philly fans, Kim. Glad you caught them in a moment of celebration.

11:45 - 1,500 yards, technique focused

Tomorrow (and for several weeks), I'm participating in a research study on the effects of a carbohydrate solution on cycling. I am doing a VO2 max test tomorrow, with all the gadgets, etc. Should be interesting.

Hope you feel better soon, Kim. I have a mini-TENS unit and it does seem to work to some extent for muscle and nerve issues.

32 minute run here, in between dealing with utilities and more financial stuff. On the plus side, beautiful clear weather here (although cold--highs in low 40's) after a couple of days of gloomy weather. Really looking forward to exploring the nearby trails in the summer.

45 minute trainer ride and some chest strengthening. Got in a 3.3 mile run yesterday with some good intervals mixed in.
