You guys might not know but the gun lobby has pretty much had their way in Florida for a good long time. About the only thing they have not been able to get through is allowing open carry on college campuses, but they have gotten close. (Can you think of a worse idea than combining keg parties, horny college kids, and open carry?). Anyway, the recent legislation that our gov' signed I'm in favor of. It lets individual school districts decide about arming school workers. That has a less than zero chance of occurring in our county, but some of the more rural parts of the state may just go that route. My bet is once they see their liability insurance go up, they will rethink. I think it an experiment worth trying.

I think Missouri is going to pass to college campus carry law.

My kids are all going to want guns.  LMAO

You should be able to deduct the purchase of the guns as an education expense. :-)

I just wish I could deduct SOMETHING for their college expenses.  Twins are only fun until they're 8 or 9 years old......then one of them should get older or something.....3 in college next year.

That's gonna be $1500-1800 just for pistols. LMAO

If they pass that in Fla my FIL's Kimber 1911 is coming to work with me and will be in full view when any discussion of failing grades is taking place. A snowflake who just realized that he/she is not as "special" as they were taught is potentially problematic.

Suggestion: Spend $500 for an ACT tutoring course. Bumped my son’s ACT score up about 2 points to a 34 I think....perfect 36 in English. It was enough to get a full 4 year scholarship. Well worth the ‘investment’.

Nah, they're done taking the ACT.  Son's college is free, the twins can work their way through what I don't pay.....it won't kill them.  I hate to unleash both of them on the Mizzou campus (probably be a state law against it by the time they're done haha).....but it's time for somebody else to deal with those two. LOL

Not until April......I went as a passenger to an off roading class with one of them and her jeep over the past weekend.....I may never recover.I should have just hitch hiked home when they had me disconnect the sway bars.
