Subject: 3.17.18 Saturday!

Good morning BT!

I was set to do a hike this am but a winter storm is rolling in!  It's getting pretty ugly out there so I guess I'll wait it out and see if it clears this afternoon!

I hope it clears up! We are supposed to get thunderstorms this afternoon and tomorrow. Might affect my ride. Had my 5k “tempo”. Went pretty well, hit my paces, but it hurt. A friend from Nashville happened to be in town and ran with me. We both took home AG wins, so that was a nice bonus. Have a great day!

I hope you got your hike in. You sure seem to do a lot of different types of cross training.

I recently clipped on some aerobars on my bike, and this morning I taped them up while I was waiting for it to get just a little warmer. Once it got to 40 degrees, I headed out and got 14 miles on the bike trail. That's about all I can muster before my feet freeze at that temperature.

And of course I did my morning routine of a 2 minute plank, followed by pushups and then oblique sit ups.

The weather has changed quite a bit here in central Georgia. Warm and humid.

35 minute trainer session with quite a few intervals mixed in.

Winter storm!? Kim, come back to Austin.  I had a lovely 6 mile run this morning with my running group, then biked over to Barton Springs for some swimming (I've been working on building my lung capacity for freediving and I spent a good long while just hanging out on the bottom with the crayfish), then biked around Austin some more since South by Southwest is going on. Beautiful day!

Just an easy HRZ2 afternoon MTB ride for me. 7.4km woth a 280m climb.
