Subject: RE: 4.6.18 Fab Friday! Friday is my rest day and my cheat day on my diet (I am diabetic ), so nothing more than my morning plank, pushups, and situps. I made my cheat day Friday because I am a sucker for fish frys. Now that Lent is over, the one I typically go to is a lot more enjoyable with about 1/2 the people there.
Probably going to ease up on the training for a little bit. I have a Masters swim meet next weekend and am really wanting to PB a few events. Well PB in recent times of course. I don't think those high school times will be revisited by me anytime soon.
Then the weekend after that is our first tri of the season. It's the Carmel Sprint, just outside of Indianapolis. This was my daughter's first tri ever (figured a pool swim was a better way to start for an 11 y.o. ) Last year I did horribly at this one. I worked 28 days in a row a minimum of 10 hrs a day (and a lot of 12s ) and had a Masters swim meet the day before. I did next to no training that month, and I was just plain exhausted. My swim and bike times weren't terrible, but ended up walking most of the run.
Have a great weekend all,
J White
