Subject: Boise biking and trail running, anyone?
I've just relocated semi-permanently to the Boise, Idaho area (Eagle) and in search of people to train with, specifically longer road rides and trail runs, which I don't feel great doing solo, both for general safety and because I'm not familiar with local routes. I've looked up some local groups online, but for cycling in particular it seems like they are either strictly recreational or extremely fast and hard core. "Lactic Acid Cycling" sounds like it has two groups for their longer weekend rides, but one does not go far enough for my training needs and I'm afraid I cannot keep up with the other. They say the long group goes "18-22 mph average" for 60-100 mile rides; my best HIM race pace (flat) is about 20 mph.

Are there any groups or individuals interested in weekend road rides, or trail runs any time? Would guess I average about 18 mph for long rides of 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours. Currently training for a HIM at the end of July; will be starting IM training in mid-August for a race in November.
