Looks really good. I love shrimp!

Fly home from KS yesterday to find a big bowl of pico de gallo my wife had made using our fresh tomatoes. So good! Something about homegrown tomatoes that you simply cannot get in the grocery store tomatoes.

Garden fresh pico is one of my favorites. I believe that refrigeration when shipping changes the texture of tomatoes. I know that even garden fresh ones take on a different texture and flavor once you toss them in the fridge. No 'maters for me this year. Maybe get that garden in next year.

The shrimp were super fresh. They'd never been frozen and the difference makes a dish. I hadn't made étouffée in a long time since I'm the only one at my house that enjoys it. I got a tad too much salt in it, but it was still great.
