Subject: An Unlikely Athlete
Hi all,
Quick introduction. I'm Dan, very new to all this, did a sprint at Brighton last year, an Olympic at Rutland this year, and an Olympic plus in London yesterday.
I was 115kg when I started last year and 6'3. So a pretty unlikely Athlete.
I have a 70.3 to do in September so currently panic ridden about the double run distance!
Looks a great website..
Anyway hello to all.

Welcome to BT...tons of resources here that could answer all the questions you might have before that 70.3. Don't know which race that is but you might do a search in the Race Reports section to see if anyone's written about it.

Good luck with your training..

Hi Dan:

Welcome and good luck. Hopefully you've been following a good plan to build your mileage up to your September race day. It's a big step up from Oly to HIM...certainly much more substantial than moving from Sprint to Oly.

As others have said, lots of good info and insight here on BT. Ask away...I'm sure you'll get a lot of feedback.

Steve
