Subject: Allez Sprint 2018 as first road bike!
Hey there guys! I'm new to the forum, my name is Thomas and i'm from Greece, and i want to compete in the Ironman 70.3 hosted in Greece in 2019 April so a need a road bike to train, a little aero and under 1600euro (and beautiful ofc :P). And i've narrowed the search down to Specialized Allez Sprint 2018 58cm(1.90cm height, 91cm inseam). My question is would this bike fit me? I have no cycling background history (though i've done some 3hr rides on a city bike). There is no retailer nearby so i can go check it and the nearest one is 500km away. So would i be able to train on it regurarly(i mean back pain, neck pain due to aggresive possition), hill climb up to 2000m of elevation gain, do a long ride of over 150kms, and complete the IM race 70.3 with aerobars on it? Actually i want a bike to do what 3 bikes would lol :p but the budget is restricting for that. Could you help me decide please!
Thanks a lot!

I know you probably don't want to hear this, but the Allez Sprint is not a bike I would recommend anyone buy as a first road bike without a fitting and a test ride. It's a pretty aggressive bike, designed primarily for criterium racing, with a "long and low" geometry that's not for everyone. The ride is also not the most compliant. It's not feather weight, but it's light enough to be an OK climber. It would actually work fairly well with clip-on aero bars. That geometry might not be comfortable for long rides, however, especially for a beginner.

Do a search for bike fit calculator (years ago, Colorado Cyclist had a decent tool) and enlist the help of a good friend to get measurements to feed into the calculator.  It won't be as good as an actual fit, but it will give you a first-pass at what size bikes to investigate further.
