This was the inaugural race. I think it ended up being way harder than even the race directors expected. Lots of DNFs at both the 50 and 100 mile distances but especially at the 100 mile, which I was originally supposed to run. It was cool of the RD to just drop the 100-mile people who completed 50 miles into the 50mile race results as finishers. In my opinion it's not a 36 hour race for 100 miles. Probably a 40 hour race. Beautiful course.
