Subject: RE: Upgrade advise I echo what someone else has said... if you want to drop the money into a new bike try and get a good fit first. A good fitter will be able to use your stack and reach coordinates to determine which bikes are the best fit for you. From there just pick whichever one looks the coolest. If you look good, you'll feel good, and that will make you fast!
Someone else pointed out the crowd-funded wind tunnel study from a couple of years back. I actually kicked in a few $$$ for that as I love to geek out on bike data. The results were surprising. At the end of the day the most important thing is to find something that is comfortable and doesn't break the bank... the engine is still the most important part of the equation. |
