 1 |  Subject: Some guy who wants to begin the tri dreamSome im just a guy who saw there was a triathlon happening locally to me and I've decided to enter. I am a regular cyclist but have never entered a tri event. Basically, i have no idea what to wear, tri top withh sleeves or no sleeves ? How often do i train? And the big question - do i shave under arms ? Im a pretty hairy dude so it could look terrible if i dont and go sleeveles. Any help would be great  Edited by Macd_j 2019-02-18 9:07 AM |

Master 1946 Bronze member | Subject: RE: Some guy who wants to begin the tri dream There are some great beginner plans on the site - Don Fink wrote a number of triathlon training books as have others but most important is committing to do all 3 sports 3x week & some strength & stretching work..and COMMIT to a goal race! |

| 265 | Subject: RE: Some guy who wants to begin the tri dream Joe Friel is perhaps the most prolific triathlon writer out there. He's penned many books. The Triathletes Training Bible is a classic. I know that he also wrote a beginner triathlete book at some point. You should head over to your library (if it is open) or check out via Amazon. There will be all the info you need.
