haha, I have had this account for a bit and re-surfacing. I still want to do a tri, I know I can just have a few small injuries I have to work with before I do the whole thing. I have a couple of road races (run) this year and I want to do a few more.

*Update: I just pulled the trigger on the 2019 White Mountains Sprint tri. I love that area so I figured it would be a fantastic way to start this year.
Its a must to be in a wet suit so I will have to find a used one( already checked out classifieds) and will have to shop on craigslist for a good deal.
I spent my whole child hood on bikes, so I can fix/ upgrade as needed.

Welcome!
If you have any tri shops in your area, you may be able to rent a wetsuit. I've done that before, and while it felt like a huge amount of money for basically two swims, it still was helpful to know that if I didn't like the style, it was going back and I could try another next time.

There's something about renting a wetsuit... There has been some good sales on them around and to be honest if I get started and my injuries don't kill me I won't stop till I complete a half iron and keep improving on my times etc. Iv worn a wetsuit alot on my day swimming/ finning for jobs so I am a fan of a 3/2. The fun part is finding a cheap bike with a light frame so I can upgrade it slowly. in Central Mass, I don't think I have a dedicated trishops anyways.
