 422  , Pennsylvania |  Subject: 05.01.2019 Wicked Wednesday TrainingAhhhh...Butt crack of dark for a midweek easy brick. 20 miles on the bike trainer with a 4 mile run on it's back. Paces were good, effort seemed fair to easy with some difficult little climbs on the run. Hope everyone has a great hump day. Cheers, Steve |

1508  Cypress, Texas | Subject: RE: 05.01.2019 Wicked Wednesday Training 5:45 AM: No tornados this morning, 24+ hit throughout the evening and night hours, so I put my speedo jammer swim trunks on and my quick dry teeshirt top and did my 6-1/2 mile run in the rain. The past three days of recovery are starting to set in. I was not as fatigues this morning as I was on Monday and Tuesday. I hit my target times for the first half of the run but still saw things slide towards the end. Another day or two and I should be ready to hit it hard again this weekend going into a full training week. Happy May Day! |

Master 8247   Eugene, Oregon Bronze member | Subject: RE: 05.01.2019 Wicked Wednesday Training 1500 yards of very slow swimming, most of it with fins. That's all, folks. (My day off biking. Otherwise hitting the trainer 6 days a week.) Got doctor permission to start running again, but probably will wait till the weekend. Still lots of elbow swelling and some pain on and off related to scar tissue aggravating a nerve that's oversensitive due to a previous injury. Hoping some new drugs will get that a bit more under control before I introduce some more jarring and cardio activity. |
