I did get in to the pool for about 30 minutes but that was at my daughter's cast party for Frozen Junior so I didn't get enough yards it to amount to a work out. I guess I will call this a rest/taper day for the Boom in the Valley 5K on the 3rd. I haven't done an open 5K in over a year. This race is at 6:30 PM. Two years ago it was really hot and I ran my slowest 5K in about 10 years but I was first place over all out of 600 people. So even though I didn't run it last year I have to defend my title. :-) I am hoping for cool weather so I have a shot at a PR but am guessing it woull me about 90 deg and humid. |
