 1508   Cypress, Texas |  Subject: 07.18.2019 Thursday Training5:30 AM: 60 minutes on the bike trainer with 3 x 12' over-under intervals (95-105% FTP) with 5 minutes rest intervals. Yesterday it was too hot to leave the rabbits in the rabbit barn so my wife moved them to the back porch along with their huge cooling fan. The rabbits were moved back to the Rabbit Barn last night but that huge fan that I have been envious was still on the back porch so I took it with me to the bike trainer and set it up on the bike this morning. One 3 foot fan is way better than the two 8" fans I normal have. It was a really comfortable workout. I may need to investigate in some train equipment upgrades. :-) |

Master 8247    Eugene, Oregon Bronze member | Subject: RE: 07.18.2019 Thursday Training Yep, maybe it would be better not to have to share a fan with the rabbits! 55 minute run here with some fartlek pickups, before it got too hot. Then 2200 yards in the pool around noon. Swimming still does not feel "normal" or entirely pain-free, but the last week or so have felt a lot smoother and I'm going faster than before without additional effort. Next week will begin in earnest to wean myself off the fins. I have been doing some 50's without them at each workout, but I think I'm strong enough now to start building up that distance. |
