Subject: RE: 07.21.2019 Slippery when Sunday I am so lucky here! Not slippery. 95 degrees out now but when I ran at about 10:30 AM it was barely 70, nice and dry and sunny. First brick since I smashed my elbow at Challenge Wanaka in February. 1:30 trainer ride and 20 minute run. Had a nice run--I usually do for bricks, except sometimes in races and with rides of over 3-4 hours.
Just pissed that I am missing an entire season of racing (during the one year for probably the next decade when I was free to travel to my pick of races as not working ) and have spent the past four months basically trying to get back to where I was in February. Think I am there with run and bike (except maybe bike endurance--just not motivated to put in more than two hours on a trainer with no races on the horizon ) but swim is still a long way off. I've gotten to the point where my average pace with the fins is a bit faster than when uninjured without them--time to start weaning myself off them. Edited by Hot Runner 2019-07-21 8:12 PM
